Expect no tricks\, but lots of treats at the Halloween Hustle—with candy for your little ghosts and goblins on every corner. An event for kids of all ages—runners are encouraged get in the holiday spirit and wear their Halloween costumes. As one of the longest running 5k’s in the Springfield community\, this has become a Halloween tradition for many families year after year. \nThe Halloween Hustle benefits Harmony House—Springfield’s only domestic violence shelter. Every penny raised from the Halloween Hustle will support Harmony House and the work they do every day providing shelter\, advocacy\, and education to survivors of domestic abuse. Based on the stories of real survivors\, participants walk in the shoes of various characters.  You’ll move\, act\, think\, and make choices as a person experiencing an abusive relationship.  This interactive and introspective simulation will leave you with an intimate understanding of the difficult choices that face survivors as they leave abuse. Similar to In Her Shoes\, this In Their Shoes Back to School Edition will walk participants through a teen dating violence simulation. We encourage any parents\, educators\, and youth-based service providers to get registered to attend – and help us spread the word. DESCRIPTION:Through their Waves of Change initiative\, each High Tide main stage production partners with a local nonprofit organization to help raise awareness\, build community connection\, and\, when possible\, support vital work happening in Springfield. \nDuring their production of Little Shop of Horrors\, they are honored to partner with Harmony House\, during our 50th anniversary year. \nThroughout the run\, High Tide is featuring the Skid Row Spritz on the bar menu\, available as both a cocktail and mocktail\, with a portion of proceeds donated to Harmony House at the conclusion of the show. They are also using their platform to highlight our Prevention Education program and 24/7 hotline support for survivors of domestic violence. \nIn 2025\, Harmony House staff answered 3\,333 hotline calls and chats.
