- Where did you grow up? Springfield, Missouri.
- How did you get connected with Harmony House? Why is their mission important to you? Lisa farmer asked me to work with them to discuss planned giving and fundraising.
- What pictures did you have up on the walls of your bedroom as a teenager? Or what was your favorite band as a teenager? As a teenager, I loved George Strait and Garth Brooks.
- What is the most profound lesson you have learned? To remember the important things in life and not get stressed out about the “little stuff”.
- What do you like to do in Springfield with your free time?I currently have no free time! I am a working mom with a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old!
- When you were a child, what did you want to grow up to be? At one point, I wanted to be a Marine Biologist.
- Do you have a role model? If so, who? Yes, my mom! She is the most loving mom in the world!
- Something you’ll always find in my refrigerator? Greek yogurt.
- What is the most random thing in your purse right now? A bottle of glitter nail polish.
- If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be? To take my family back to Disney World.
- Name one song you would sing at Karaoke night. “A Whole New World” from Disney’s Little Mermaid.
- What was the last thing you recorded on TV? I don’t record TV, but I’m addicted to Netflix shows—especially crime dramas like “The Killing” or “Justified”.
- If you could share a meal with any 2 individuals, living or dead, who would they be? My Grandpa Bell and my Grandma Helen. I’d ask them to share with me the story of their lives and tell them how much they meant to me (and still do).
- Are you related or distantly related to anyone famous? Yes—I am related to Samuel Clemens (Mark Twain) and the Goetz Brothers (movie producers).
- Your most favorite 80’s band? The Bangles.
- Favorite 80’s trend you wish would come back? Jelly bracelets.
- My favorite thing about Harmony House: Giving our community members hope during times of personal crisis.
