Six local charities in the running for beneficiary of Queen City Beard and Moustache Federation’s 6th Annual Facial Hair Competition
The Gathering Friends, The Rare Breed, Isabel’s House, O-Steam, Ozarks Food Harvest and the Harmony House are competing for online votes to win official beneficiary for the 6th Annual Queen City Beard and Moustache Federation’s next facial hair competition.
Five-week online voting poll will launch on December 29, 2014 to help determine the beneficiary to receive a large cash donation in May 2015.
Monday, December 29 at 6 a.m. until Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 11:59 p.m.
Local philanthropic group, the Queen City Beard & Moustache Federation, also known as #QCBMF, is asking the community to help them choose between six pre-selected local non-profit organizations to be the beneficiary of their next facial hair competition. The 2014 competition raised more than $10,000 for their selected charity so there could be a substantial amount of money donated.
