DESCRIPTION:Sage Studio Yoga and Wellness is partnering with Lavender Falls to host the 3rd Annual Yoga Mala with all proceeds going to Harmony House in Springfield. \nWhat’s a Yoga Mala? A mala was traditionally a set of beads. 108 beads to be precise. \nWhy 108? Because 108 is a sacred number in Hinduism and in the yoga tradition. During a yoga mala we do 108 sun salutations. Broken down into 4 groups of 27. \nThe motivation for a yoga mala is service in action\, with a nominated cause or charity to be supported by the event.
