Harmony House Outreach Services
Harmony House offers an array of outreach services to help survivors break down the barriers to living free from abuse. All services are free and confidential.
Family Justice Center
The Greene County Family Justice Center (FJC) is a multi-agency, multi-disciplinary service center providing victim services in ONE safe place. They focus on reducing the number of times victims tell their story, the number of places victims must go for help, and look to increase access to services and support for victims and their children.
Harmony House currently has three navigators at the FJC to provide assistance in many forms including:
- Safety planning
- Crisis intervention
- Shelter referrals
- Assistance filing an emergency order of protection
- Basic legal information
You can reach a navigator by calling 417-874-2600 or visit 1418 E Pythian St, Springfield, MO 65802

Outreach Case Management
The Harmony House Outreach Program provides long-term non-residential supportive services to survivors currently experiencing or who have experienced domestic violence in the past. Domestic violence is something that systematically dismantles your life, it takes time and support to move forward from abuse. Our program offers support through service plan meetings and an annual review process. This structure ensures we are providing the best services possible, by helping our clients to identify and work towards goals to build a future filled with hope and possibility based on their values and circumstances.
“People who need help sometimes look a lot like people who don’t need help.” Glennon Doyle
“A crisis highlights all of our fault lines. We can pretend that we have nothing to learn, or we can take this
opportunity to own the truth and make a better future for ourselves and others.” Brene Brown
Outreach support and case management services are available to those who do not require shelter services, to those who are not yet ready to leave their relationship and to those survivors who leave Harmony House, but wish to remain connected to supportive services.
Outreach Case Management services include:
- Safety planning
- General goal setting and problem solving
- Domestic Violence education
- Emotional support, goal setting, and community resource referrals
- Legal and Children’s Division advocacy
- Safe at Home Application Assistance
