We’re excited to share that our Change Maker monthly giving program has a fresh look and a renewed purpose! With a vibrant new butterfly logo symbolizing transformation, hope, and resilience, the revamped program reflects the journey of every domestic violence survivor we walk alongside.
What is a Change Maker?
At Harmony House, transformation isn’t just a concept, it is what happens every day. Each year, over 400 women, men, and children find safe shelter with us, receiving everything from climate-controlled private rooms and family programs to legal advocacy, housing and employment support, to trauma-informed therapy, all under one roof.
In addition, our committed team provides critical support to more than 1,600 individuals and families in the community who don’t require shelter, but urgently need safety planning and access to life-saving resources.
All of these services are provided completely free of charge, and they’ve been sustained for nearly 50 years through the generosity of donors like you.

- $5 a month helps to provide daily essentials for an individual in shelter
- $15 a month helps cover the cost of meals in shelter for a family
- $25 a month allows a dozen individuals access to personal & legal documents
- $40 a month covers 2 weeks of safe sleep for an individual in shelter
- $75 a month provides utility set ups for families exiting shelter into affordable housing
- $100 a month is equal to 60+ hours of critical 24/7 hotline support
