Harmony House is promoting from within for its new executive director. Jared Alexander, the nonprofit's Philanthropy Director is scheduled to start in the top role on Dec. 19.
Missourians can make a big difference in their community and taxes. Any donation made to a domestic violence shelter or rape crisis center after July 1 is eligible for a tax credit for up to 70% of their contribution.
Missouri lawmakers are considering a bill that would waive the fees for domestic violence survivors to get a copy of their birth certificates.
